Project Engineer / Site Engineer (Rooftop Solar)

Job Description

The role holder will be responsible for project execution of Rooftop / Ground-mounted Solar Projects in the KW to MW scale. Responsible for project management and monitoring of site construction activities as per the project execution plan.

Requirements

Years of Experience: 2+ years

Qualification: BE / B.Tech / Diploma – Electrical Engineering

Location: PAN India

Pre-Construction

· Inception and survey of plant

· Verification of roof build

· Verification of plant layout

· Verification of material checklist

During Construction

· Coordinate with I&C; Contractor / Execution Agencies for smooth execution of work at site.

· Follow installation guidelines provided for installation of the plant.

· Coordinate with different departments for smoother execution of the project.

· Conduct joint inspection of material receipts at site along with the client.





· Monitor construction of solar power plant facilities.

· Verify and certify running bills raised by I&C; / Execution Agencies as per actual site work progress.

· Implement industrial standards, quality requirements and Health & Safety Norms (HSE Guidelines).

· Coordinate with the HSE Executive.

· Conduct daily / weekly / monthly meetings at site with I&C; / Execution Agencies to monitor site execution and progress.

· Submit site progress reports to HO and monitor overall site work.

· Send design changes to the design team on a daily basis for preparation of as-built FCD.

· Coordinate / liaise with Government and local authorities as per requirement.

· Coordinate with civil, mechanical and electrical engineers of contractors to ensure the project is delivered as per technical specifications and compliance.

· Verify the quality of all civil work as per standards, specifications, drawings and owners’ instructions.

· Inspect and certify methods for testing construction materials through in office labs, independent agencies or contractors for compliance with applicable codes and specifications, especially soil compaction, concrete and rebar.

Post-Construction

· Handover the completed project to the O&M; team.

· Provide solar training to the client's Electrical Department.

· Share changes with the design team for preparation of as-built FCD.
