WHAT’S THE MISSION FOR THIS ROLE?

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Insights Enablement and Analytics to join our Global Analytics function within a leading fashion business. This role is pivotal in shaping and delivering the analytics strategy for Pentland Brands, partnering closely with senior business stakeholders across all regions.

You will act as a trusted advisor to the business, using your deep understanding of functional processes, data architecture, and analytics to identify opportunities, influence decisions, and deliver scalable, data-driven solutions that drive impact.

In addition to leading the analytics agenda, you will also manage a high-performing team of data analysts and visualisation analysts. This team is responsible for all analytics projects, functional insights and delivering dashboards, reporting and other tactical analysis as part of the wider global analytics capability.

WHAT DOES THIS ROLE DO?

- Co-own the delivery of the Global Analytics roadmap by translating the Global Analytics vision into a clear execution plan, ensuring priorities, roadmaps, and resources are aligned to the highest-value outcomes for the business.
- Enable and support Analytics Partners by providing the delivery capability, tools, and governance needed to turn scoped business questions into actionable outputs, while helping create smooth handoffs between partnering, prioritisation, and execution.




- Lead and continue building a high performing analytics delivery function in GCH at scale with the right resource capacity and capabilities are in place.
- Build the right culture within the GCH GA team as well as set the right ways of working with other functions such as Data Engineering, MDG/MDM etc.
- Own the semantic layer and analytical standards that underpin reporting, self-service, and AI-enabled use cases, ensuring common definitions, trusted metrics, and scalable access to insight across the organisation.
- Embed AI into analytics delivery in a practical way by improving how the team uses AI to increase productivity, enhance insight generation, and support business growth, while ensuring the delivery team keeps pace with relevant AI developments and applies them responsibly.

- Deep understanding of business functions, especially Finance and HR, to contextualize analytical work.

Technical & Analytical Expertise

- Proficient in data analysis and modelling (e.g., regression, clustering, forecasting) using tools like SQL, Python, R, or Power BI/Tableau.
- Comfortable with data pipelines, ETL processes, and cloud environments (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
- Applies critical thinking to incomplete or messy datasets, using structured, hypothesis-driven approaches.

Communication, Leadership & Influence

- Synthesises complex analysis into clear, compelling stories that drive decision-making.
- Builds solid cross-functional relationships, including with senior stakeholders, to influence outcomes.
- Leads and develops a small team,

WHAT DO I BRING TO THE ROLE?

To stand out in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

- Required Qualifications/ Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 12+ years of experience in business analysis, strategic planning, or solution delivery. Proven experience working with cross-functional teams (Product, Finance, IT, Sales, Marketing) with a strong background in transforming business needs into functional and technical requirements.
- Experience in change adoption programs, process redesign, or digital transformation.
- Ability to challenge the status quo and identify areas for innovation.
- Familiarity with other cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments.
- Strong storytelling and data visualization skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
- Expert in requirements gathering, gap analysis, root cause analysis, and KPI tracking.
- Comfortable with statistical tools, forecasting, and performance trend interpretation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
- Skilled in managing senior stakeholder expectations and facilitating workshops or working sessions.
- Experience managing a team of high performing analysts ensuring timelines are met and the teams development progresses
