We are seeking a skilled SAP IS-U Techno Functional Consultant with expertise in SAP ABAP development and SAP IS-U functional processes. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing and developing custom solutions, supporting production systems, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality utility solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze functional specifications and technical requirements and participate in application development, testing, debugging, and performance analysis.

- Develop and enhance ABAP custom objects, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows following SAP coding standards.

- Prepare technical design documents, pseudo code, and process flow documentation.

- Provide production support and troubleshoot business-critical issues through custom development and enhancements.

- Review interfaces, system designs, and prototypes to ensure compliance with SAP best practices and standards.

- Configure and support SAP IS-U modules including:

- Device Management (DM)

- Energy Data Management (EDM)

- Billing & Invoicing

- Work closely with business users and clients to gather, analyze, validate,



and translate requirements into technical solutions.

- Perform unit testing, integration testing, defect resolution, and deployment support.

- Support system integrations and data exchange with external applications.

Required Skills

- Strong experience in SAP IS-U and ABAP development.

- Hands-on expertise in custom developments, enhancements, reports, interfaces, BAPIs, BAdIs, User Exits, Smart Forms, and SAP Scripts.

- Knowledge of IS-U business processes including Device Management, EDM, Billing, and Invoicing.

- Experience in debugging, SQL trace analysis, performance tuning, and production support.

- Ability to prepare functional and technical specifications.

- Solid analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Experience in Utility, Smart Metering, or AMI projects.

- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA utilities landscape is an added advantage.

- SAP IS-U certification preferred.
