About the Role

We are looking for a skilled MongoDB Developer with strong experience in designing, optimizing, and implementing document-based data solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in MongoDB data modeling, query optimization, performance tuning, and integrating MongoDB with .NET/C# applications. This role involves building scalable, secure, and high-performance data systems to support enterprise-grade applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design efficient, scalable, and versatile MongoDB schemas using best practices for normalization and denormalization.

- Implement CRUD operations, including advanced querying, filtering, sorting, pagination, and bulk operations.

- Build and optimize indexes, analyze query performance, and interpret execution plans for performance tuning.

- Develop data access layers and integrations using MongoDB .NET/C# drivers.

- Implement upserts, replacements, aggregation pipelines, and data transformation workflows.

- Work with MongoDB Atlas, including replication, sharding configurations, and deployment tuning.

- Manage data lifecycle strategies: hot/warm/cold storage tiers, TTL indexes, and archival mechanisms.

- Implement backup/restore routines, monitoring, and alerting using Atlas or Ops Manager.





- Work with change streams for real-time event-driven data pipelines.

- Ensure security best practices including authentication, authorization, auditing, and compliance.

- Collaborate with backend teams to build scalable APIs and microservices leveraging MongoDB.

- Utilize full-text search, Lucene, or vector search for enhanced query capabilities.

Core MongoDB Skills

- Strong understanding of documents, collections, BSON, and object mapping.

- Proficiency in:

- CRUD operations

- Aggregation pipelines

- Indexing & query optimization

- Upserts / replacements

Architecture & Performance

- Schema design principles for large-scale document databases

- Performance tuning using query explain plans

- Replication & sharding

- High availability and disaster recovery

Tools & Integrations

- MongoDB Atlas / Ops Manager

- .NET / C# MongoDB driver

- Monitoring & alerting frameworks

- Experience with data backups, restores, automation

Additional Skills

- Experience with search technologies (Lucene, full-text search, vector search, semantic search)

- Familiarity with cloud environments and distributed data patterns
