Role Summary

We're looking for a Video Editor to be the content engine for our client's marketing team. You'll turn raw footage, voiceovers, and event recordings into polished, scroll-stopping videos for YouTube and short-form social platforms.

This role is ideal for someone with at least 2 years of agency editing experience who thrives on rapid turnarounds, follows brand guidelines closely, and brings fresh ideas to every cut. A portfolio of similar work is required to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit raw footage from the client's videography team into finished videos
- Merge separate voiceover, audio, and video files into one finished cut
- Edit event footage into ready-to-publish assets
- Sync audio, clean it up, balance levels, and add music
- Apply color correction so footage from different sources matches
- Follow the client's brand guidelines for fonts, colors, logos, and visual style
- Add captions, text animations, AI-generated visuals, stock footage, and strong opening hooks
- Produce finished YouTube videos and cut short-form vertical clips for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook Reels, and YouTube Shorts
- Organize and file raw footage, project files, and approved assets with consistent folders and naming
- Send drafts for client review, revise based on feedback, and join client meetings and handoffs

Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience as a video editor, including work at a creative or marketing agency
- Experience editing both YouTube videos and short-form vertical video
- Experience editing interview and event footage
- A portfolio of similar work (required to apply)
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and a strong sense of storytelling and pacing




- Able to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision
- Open to feedback and quick to revise

Requirements

- Primary internet connection with a minimum speed of 15 Mbps.
- Backup internet connection with at least 10 Mbps.
- Backup connection must be capable of supporting work during a power outage.

- Primary Device:

- Desktop or laptop equipped with at least:

- Intel Core i5 (8th generation or newer), Intel Core i3 (10th generation or newer), AMD Ryzen 5, or an equivalent processor.
- A minimum of 8 GB RAM.

- Backup Device:

- Must meet or exceed the performance of an Intel Core i3 processor.
- Must be functional during power interruptions.

- Peripherals and Workspace:

- A functioning webcam.
- A noise-canceling USB headset.
- A quiet, dedicated home office space.
- A smartphone for communication and verification purposes.
