Microsoft Fabric AI Implementation Engineer
We are looking for a Microsoft Fabric AI Implementation Engineer who can help design and implement data and AI solutions using Microsoft Fabric The role is focused on building AIready data models enabling Fabricbased AI use cases and supporting business users with trusted insights through Power BI and conversational analytics
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement data solutions in Microsoft Fabric using Lakehouse OneLake Data Pipelines Notebooks and semantic models
Build AIready data models that support accurate insights business KPIs and natural language analytics
Support AI implementation in Microsoft Fabric using Fabric Data Agents and related AI capabilities
Create Power BI dashboards and semantic models for business reporting and decisionmaking
Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into Fabricbased data and AI solutions
Ensure solutions follow basic data governance access control and security best practices
Required Skills
Handson experience with Microsoft Fabric including Lakehouse OneLake Data Pipelines Notebooks and semantic models
Experience or strong understanding of AI implementation in Microsoft Fabric including Fabric Data Agents or conversational analytics use cases
GoodtoHave Skills
Exposure to realtime analytics or KQL databases in Microsoft Fabric
Experience building proofofconcepts or MVPs for data and AI use cases
Understanding of prompt engineering or AI agent concepts
Valuable knowledge of Power BI semantic modeling DAX and dashboard development
Strong SQL skills and working knowledge of Python or PySpark
Understanding of data modeling KPIs business metrics and data preparation for AI use cases
Basic understanding of Azure AI Foundry Copilot Studio or Azure AI services
Ability to work with business and technical teams to deliver practical data and AI solutions
Preferred Profile
The ideal candidate should have handson Microsoft Fabric experience with the ability to implement data and AI use cases build AIready semantic models and support business reporting through Power BI The candidate should be practical solutionoriented and comfortable working with both technical and business stakeholders
