As a DevOps Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring new development tools and infrastructure to support software development processes. This role requires continuous monitoring and enhancement of integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines to ensure smooth and secure operations. The engineer collaborates with various teams to implement cloud-based solutions and container orchestration, while maintaining a strong focus on system security and reliability. Daily activities include troubleshooting issues, optimizing workflows, and ensuring that the development environment supports rapid and safe software releases. Roles & Responsibilities: Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the implementation of best practices in continuous integration and continuous delivery to improve deployment efficiency.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall technical capabilities.
- Coordinate with security teams to integrate security measures into the development lifecycle.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and assisting in their professional growth.
Skilled & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure management and automation tools related to Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of container orchestration technologies and their integration within CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to design and implement secure and scalable deployment workflows.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation to streamline development and operational tasks.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools to ensure system health and performance.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
