Key Responsibilities

- Algorithm & PHY Design: Architect and implement LTE/NR physical layer algorithms and signal processing procedures.

- Performance Tuning: Optimize L1 software for ultra-low latency, maximum throughput, and effective CPU/DSP/GPU/FPGA resource utilization.

- Subsystem Integration: Drive interface design between PHY, RF/Radio, L2 stack, and eCPRI/CPRI fronthaul networks.

- Technical Mentorship: Lead engineering teams through complex DSP/PHY debugging using IQ captures, test logs, and lab instruments.

Required Qualifications

- Experience: 12+ years in 4G/5G L1/PHY software development, alongside proven leadership in driving large L1 delivery programs.

- PHY/RF Expertise: Mastered knowledge of modulation, coding (LDPC, Turbo), MIMO, beamforming, channel estimation, complex I/Q processing, and FFT/IFFT.

- Programming Skills: Advanced proficiency in C/C++, MATLAB, embedded real-time systems, and acceleration frameworks (FPGA, ASIC, GPU).

- Interfaces & Hardware: Direct experience with CPRI/eCPRI fronthaul protocols and inline/lookaside L1 hardware acceleration.
