Job Title: Accountant - ERPNext Specialist

Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Accountant with robust hands-on experience in ERPNext. The candidate will manage accounting operations remotely and support financial processes within the ERPNext system.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
* Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
* Perform bank reconciliations and financial reconciliations.
* Prepare invoices, payment entries, journal entries, and general ledger postings.
* Manage financial modules and accounting workflows in ERPNext.
* Configure and maintain Chart of Accounts in ERPNext.
* Generate financial reports including Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
* Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
* Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on receivables.
* Ensure accurate tax, VAT, and statutory accounting records.
* Identify accounting process gaps and improve workflows using ERPNext.
* Coordinate remotely with management and operational teams.
* Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.

Required Skills and Experience:




* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
* 4 to 5 years of professional accounting experience.
* Strong hands-on experience with ERPNext.
* Good understanding of ERPNext Accounting and Finance modules.
* Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliation.
* Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles.
* Experience with VAT and taxation processes.
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
* Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:
* Experience in ERP implementation or ERPNext projects.
* Knowledge of Frappe framework workflows.
* Experience supporting multiple companies or business entities.
* Professional accounting certification such as CA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent is an advantage.

Work Arrangement:
* Fully remote position.
* Full-time availability required.
* Stable internet connection and suitable remote working setup required.
* Regular reporting and coordination with the management team.
