Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Zscaler L2 Security Engineer to support and manage the enterprise Zscaler setting, including Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), Zscaler Private Access (ZPA), Zscaler Digital Experience (ZDX), and Zscaler Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions. The candidate will be responsible for operational support, incident resolution, policy administration, troubleshooting, service requests, and continuous improvement of the Zscaler security platform.
Key Responsibilities
ZIA (Zscaler Internet Access)
Manage and support ZIA policies, URL filtering, SSL inspection, cloud firewall, and web security controls.
Perform policy administration, rule modifications, and access troubleshooting.
Analyze logs and alerts to identify and resolve user connectivity issues.
Support implementation of security controls based on business and compliance requirements.
ZPA (Zscaler Private Access)
Manage application segmentation and user access policies.
Troubleshoot user-to-application connectivity issues.
Support deployment and maintenance of App Connectors and Service Edge components.
Monitor ZPA service performance and availability.
ZDX (Zscaler Digital Experience)
Monitor end-user digital experience and application performance.
Investigate network, ISP, endpoint, or cloud application-related issues.
Generate operational reports and identify user experience trends.
Collaborate with infrastructure and network teams to resolve performance issues.
Zscaler DLP
Manage and maintain DLP policies for protection of sensitive information.
Investigate DLP incidents and recommend remediation actions.
Fine-tune DLP rules to reduce false positives.
Support compliance initiatives related to data protection and governance.
Operations & Support
Provide L2 support for incidents, service requests, and problem management activities.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues.




Participate in change management activities and planned maintenance windows.
Create and maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
Work closely with Security Operations, Network, Endpoint, and IAM teams.
Required Technical Skills
Hands-on experience with:
o Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA)
o Zscaler Private Access (ZPA)
o Zscaler Digital Experience (ZDX)
o Zscaler Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
Strong understanding of:
o HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Proxy Technologies
o SSL Inspection and Certificate Management
o Secure Web Gateway (SWG)
o Zero Trust Access concepts
o Authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC)
Experience in troubleshooting cloud security and remote access issues.
Knowledge of SIEM tools such as Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar, or similar.
Understanding of ITIL processes including Incident, Change, and Problem Management.

Preferred Skills
Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Okta, or other Identity Providers.
Basic scripting knowledge in PowerShell or Python.
Exposure to CASB, Cloud Security, and SSE/SASE technologies.
Experience working in a 24x7 operational support environment.
