Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Purchase Executive to join our agile procurement team in Visakhapatnam, India. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the complete purchasing lifecycle, from vendor selection and negotiation to inventory optimization and compliance. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining the highest quality standards. - Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including identifying supplier needs, issuing purchase orders, and coordinating with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels based on departmental requirements and organizational standards, conducting regular stock assessments and adjusting par-stock levels accordingly
- Analyze supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and establish mutually beneficial relationships to achieve cost savings and improve procurement efficiency




- Verify all received goods against purchase specifications, quality standards, and documentation; reject non-conforming items and maintain detailed records of received, issued, and rejected materials
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, quality assurance procedures, and regulatory standards; maintain transparent and organized documentation for audit purposes
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and departmental teams to forecast purchasing needs, track lead times, and manage budget allocations effectively
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste, minimize spoilage, and enhance material handling practices
- Monitor expiration dates and product shelf life, ensuring timely rotation and disposal of expired or obsolete inventory
- Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, cost analysis, and inventory metrics to support data-driven decision-making
- Support team members by providing guidance on procurement procedures and fostering a collaborative work environment
