JOB PURPOSE

To oversee day to day
accounting of Fixed Assets, Insurance, Inventories and Assets movement,
ageing, physical verification, reconciliation and to ensure timely and
accurate Month end / Quarter end / Year end closing and reporting

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. To oversee day to day Fixed Assets Accounting
and to guide team with accounting issues

2. To ensure timely creation of IO / WBS and
allocation of budget

3. To ensure timely reconciliation of consumption
booking and capitalisation

4. To coordinate with Technology / IT / FSD
/ User team for understanding nature of asset for mapping depreciation key

5. To do regular GL scrutiny to mitigate
risk of wrong/ inaccurate financial reporting

6. To maintain FAR as per Companies Act and
Income Tax Act and ensure that FAR should match with SAP GL balances

7. To conduct quarterly / Periodic
verification of inventories at Warehouse and at Partner location

8. To conduct physical verification of Fixed
Assets on annual basis.

9. To identify the differences and To get
that reconcile with the help user team to ensure to mitigate risk of loss,




pilferage and audit risk

10. To ensure periodic updation of data with
Insurer to ensure adequate coverage of risk

11. To publish timely and accurate monthly
and annual financial statements.

12. To review and improvise existing MIS on
need basis

13. To ensure smooth closure of all audits
including Statutory, Tax, Internal audits and IFC certification

14. To actively participate and contribute in
projects and key initiatives from Finance perspective

Requirements

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

5 Years plus

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

CA/CMA/ICW with at least 5
years+ experience in Fixed Assets Accounting in SAP workplace. Knowledge of
PS module of SAP will be added advantage

REQUIRED SKILLS

Analytics, Orientation to
details, Accounting, Data Entry Skills, Financial Software (SAP), Analyzing
Information, Thoroughness, Reporting Research Results, Verbal Communication

Knowledge of IndAs
accounting and experience of handling Big4 audit firm preferred.
