Senior / Chief Accountant

Location: Hyderabad

The company is a multinational Project Management and Quantity Surveying Consultants in the construction industry with offices in UAE, KSA, UK, Australia, South Africa, Singapore and India.

Reporting to the Director of Finance in the UAE office this role will handle accounting across all offices where required.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accounting records and support accounting activities up to finalization.

Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports.

Monitor employee attendance, leave records, and timesheets through Zoho People.

Generate and maintain project-wise manpower utilization and hours reports.

Analyze budgeted versus actual project hours and highlight variances.

Support project cost reporting, cost allocation, and project profitability analysis.

Monitor project financial performance and provide management insights.

Coordinate with Project Managers and Department Heads to ensure accurate project costing and utilization data.

Prepare monthly MIS reports, management dashboards, and operational reports.





Analyze large volumes of financial and operational data to support business decisions.

Ensure timely and accurate reporting while maintaining compliance with company procedures.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.

5+ years of experience in Accounting, Project Accounting, MIS Reporting, Cost Control, or Finance.

Experience in Construction, Engineering Consultancy, PMC, EPC, or Project-Based Organizations is preferred.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Experience with ERP systems, accounting software, and reporting tools.

Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
