- Assist patients and attendants with hospital procedures, services, and welfare-related queries.
- Identify patients who may require financial, social, or other welfare assistance.
- Guide eligible patients regarding government health schemes, insurance, charitable assistance, and hospital welfare programs.
- Assist eligible patients in completing required documentation for welfare schemes and financial assistance.
- Coordinate with billing, medical records, insurance, social work, and clinical departments for patient-related support.
- Address patient and attendant grievances and coordinate their resolution with the concerned department.
- Maintain proper records of welfare cases, financial assistance, concessions, referrals, and follow-ups.
- Support economically disadvantaged patients in accessing available hospital and government resources.
- Coordinate with charitable organizations, NGOs, government agencies, and other external resources when appropriate.




- Provide counselling and basic social support to patients and attendants within the scope of the role.
- Help patients understand their rights, responsibilities, and available hospital services.
- Follow up on unresolved patient welfare cases and escalate sensitive or urgent matters to the appropriate authority.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with hospital policies and applicable laws.
- Participate in patient-satisfaction initiatives and activities aimed at improving the patient experience.
- Prepare periodic reports on patient welfare activities, cases handled, assistance provided, and grievances.
- Perform other patient-welfare and administrative duties assigned by hospital management.
