Job Summary

SL Living Spaces Pvt Ltd is looking for an experienced Senior MEP Engineer with a B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of experience to independently manage and coordinate Electrical and complete MEP works across industrial, warehouse and commercial construction projects.

The candidate will be responsible for MEP activities from design review and planning through site execution, testing, commissioning and handover, ensuring effective coordination between architects, structural engineers, consultants, contractors, vendors and the internal project team.

Key Responsibilities

- Review MEP drawings, specifications, BOQs and tender documents and identify technical or coordination issues before execution.
- Coordinate HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting and other building services with architectural and structural drawings.
- Plan, monitor and supervise complete MEP execution at project sites as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project schedules.
- Review and coordinate shop drawings, coordination drawings, technical submittals and as-built drawings.
- Ensure requirements for MEP shafts, ducts, sleeves, openings, embedded pipes, core-cutting provisions and service routes are incorporated before RCC and civil works.
- Coordinate HVAC equipment, ducting, piping, electrical panels, transformers/DG/UPS where applicable, cable trays, lighting, plumbing, drainage, fire-fighting systems and associated services.
- Ensure proper planning for AC indoor/outdoor units, plant and equipment areas, service access and future maintenance requirements.
- Prepare quantity take-offs and verify BOQs, contractor measurements, RA bills and final bills.
- Coordinate closely with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, contractors, subcontractors, vendors and internal project teams.
- Plan material requirements and coordinate procurement, technical approvals,



vendor drawings and timely delivery of MEP materials and equipment.
- Monitor contractors and subcontractors for quality, safety, manpower, productivity and timely completion of works.
- Identify clashes between civil, structural and MEP services before execution and drive timely resolution.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure works conform to approved drawings, specifications and applicable codes and standards.
- Monitor project schedules and promptly highlight delays, bottlenecks, design issues and critical MEP decisions to management.
- Manage testing, commissioning, snag rectification and final handover of all MEP systems.
- Maintain complete project documentation including approvals, inspection reports, test certificates, warranties, O&M; documents and as-built drawings.

Candidate Profile

- Minimum 10 years of hands-on MEP experience, preferably in industrial buildings, warehouses, factories, commercial buildings or large construction projects.
- B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
- Robust core expertise in electrical engineering, with working knowledge and coordination capability across HVAC, plumbing and fire-fighting systems.
- Strong site execution and coordination capability; the role is not limited to design review.
- Ability to independently manage multiple contractors, consultants and vendors and drive closure of site issues.
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD, MEP drawings, BOQs, quantity verification and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of Revit / BIM coordination will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication, documentation, planning and problem-solving skills.

Role Expectation

This is a senior execution and coordination role. The selected candidate is expected to take ownership of MEP works, anticipate coordination problems before construction, ensure timely decisions and approvals, and deliver properly tested and commissioned building services within the required quality, cost and schedule.
