The Civil Engineer will support the design, planning, and execution of civil and structural works for Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia projects. The role involves close coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of large-scale industrial infrastructure in an EPC workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Engineering & Design
- Review and validate civil and structural designs, drawings, and calculations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with process, mechanical, and piping teams for interface alignment.
- Support design optimization for cost efficiency and constructability.
Project Execution
- Supervise site execution of civil works including foundations, structures, paving, and underground systems.
- Monitor contractor performance, progress, and quality of work.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and milestones.
- Review and approve method statements and construction sequences.
Quality & Compliance
- Implement QA/QC procedures and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct inspections and ensure proper documentation of civil works.
- Ensure adherence to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) guidelines at site.
Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Interface with EPC contractors, consultants, and vendors.
- Participate in project review meetings and provide technical inputs.
- Coordinate with procurement for civil material specifications and approvals.
Planning & Reporting
- Track progress and prepare daily/weekly reports.
- Identify risks and propose mitigation plans.
- Support project planning, scheduling, and cost control activities.
Key Skills Required
