Aviation Expert

Minimum : Graduate in Economics/ STEM/ Aviation related fields/Management.

Desirable : Post-Graduate or PhD in Economics/ STEM/ Management.

Experience

- 8+ years of qualified experience in infrastructure development, operations and management of throughput utilizing key aviation infrastructure etc.
- Experience in planning, policy and framework is essential for the above role.
- Experience in the execution of the aviation infrastructure.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aviation Expert to join our team and contribute to the successful planning and implementation of aviation-related components within the PM Gatishakti projects. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of the aviation industry, airport infrastructure, and regulatory frameworks. They will play a crucial role in ensuring that aviation aspects are seamlessly integrated into the broader multimodal transport network envisioned by PM Gatishakti.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Coordination:

- Develop and implement aviation strategies aligned with PM Gatishakti objectives.
- Coordinate with government agencies, airport authorities, airlines, and other stakeholders to ensure effective integration of aviation projects.
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of aviation demand, capacity, and connectivity to identify key challenges and opportunities for enhancing integrated/ multimodal transport connectivity in India.

Technical Expertise:

- Provide expert advice on airport design, runway construction, air traffic management, and other technical aspects.




- Ensure compliance with national and international aviation standards and regulations.
- Evaluate and recommend advanced technologies and best practices for enhancing airport operations and Safety.

Regulatory Compliance:

- Stay updated on aviation policies, regulations, and industry trends.
- Ensure all aviation projects comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies to obtain necessary approvals and clearances.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry partners, and community representatives.
- Conduct stakeholder consultations and address concerns related to aviation projects.
- Leveraging his/her expertise in aviation economics, regulatory frameworks, airport planning, and stakeholder engagement, he/she will support the Department in formulating a comprehensive and sustainable master plan for the aviation sector.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

- Analyse data and trends to inform decision-making and project planning.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and briefings for senior management and stakeholders. . Track and report on key performance indicators (KPls) related to aviation projects.
- Analyse commodity value chains relying on Aviation infrastructure.
- Utilizing knowledge of aviation modelling software and GIS tools, as well as statistical analysis and data visualization techniques in integrated planning as well as evaluation of projects related to multi modal connectivity
