- Analyze customer technical specifications and propose suitable cable system designs.
- Perform electrical and thermal calculations for cable systems.
- Design cables in compliance with UL, IEC, BS, ASNZ, and IS standards.
- Provide technical support to the Marketing and Sales teams for customer inquiries and feasibility assessments.
- Prepare technical calculation notes and obtain customer approvals.
- Support system qualification activities and product validation processes.
- Develop and validate calculation procedures based on standards and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders to clarify technical requirements.
- Ensure designs meet functional, performance, safety,
and regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement and design optimization initiatives.
Preferred candidate profile
B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with 5-7 years of experience, preferably in the Wire & Cable industry. Robust expertise in cable design, electrical calculations, international standards compliance, and technical customer support. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, production, and quality teams.
