Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop scalable, maintainable web applications using React.js and modern JavaScript.
- Build reusable components, shared libraries, UI patterns, and scalable frontend architectures.
- Provide technical leadership to engineers through code reviews, design reviews, mentoring, and technical guidance.
- Work with React Hooks, state management, routing, reusable components, and frontend performance optimization.
- Develop and maintain integrations with REST APIs, including authentication, validation, error handling, data transformation, and resilient user experiences.
- Use Node.js for frontend tooling, build processes, API integration, Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) services, and server-side support where required.
- Ensure responsive, accessible, and cross-browser compatible applications using HTML5 and modern CSS.
- Establish and maintain frontend coding standards, engineering best practices, documentation, and development guidelines.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, QA, backend engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders to deliver business solutions.
- Drive troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, technical decision-making, estimation, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated delivery, source control, package management, linting, formatting, and build tooling.
- Promote secure frontend development practices, dependency management, browser security,



and application performance optimization.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide technical input on planning, risks, dependencies, and delivery progress.
- Support end-to-end testing strategies and ensure quality across the application lifecycle.

Preferred candidate profile

- React.js: Components, Hooks, State Management, Routing, Reusable UI Patterns, Performance Optimization.
- JavaScript: ES6+, asynchronous programming, modules, browser APIs, error handling, and clean coding practices.
- Node.js: Frontend tooling, build processes, API integration, BFF, and server-side support.
- Frontend Architecture: Scalable application structures, reusable components, shared libraries, design systems, and maintainable coding standards.
- HTML/CSS: Semantic HTML, responsive design, up-to-date CSS, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
- API Integration: REST APIs, authentication, validation, error handling, data transformation, and data fetching.
- State & Data Management: Client-side state, server-state, caching, and modern data-fetching approaches.
- Testing: Unit, integration, and end-to-end testing approaches for web applications.
- CI/CD & Engineering Tooling: Package management, linting, formatting, build tools, Git, pull requests, and automated delivery pipelines.
- Security & Performance: Secure frontend development, dependency management, browser security, performance profiling, and optimization.
