6 Position: Site Engineer

Location: Moradabad

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Engineer to oversee on-ground civil execution and contractor operations under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) rural piped water supply scheme. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end site executionincluding Over-Head Tanks (OHT), pump houses, HDPE/DI distribution pipeline laying, and Functional Household Tap Connections (FHTC).

Key Responsibilities

- Site Survey, Layout, and Planning: Supervise layout marking for Over-Head Tanks (OHT), Pump Houses, Tube Wells, and water distribution networks. Map households to ensure 100% coverage, verifying tap points, service line routes, and community standpost locations where applicable.
- Execution and Construction Supervision: Supervise the construction of tube wells, pump houses, chlorination units, boundary walls, and RCC structures (OHT) including shuttering, rebar placement (BBS), and concrete pours, Pipeline Laying & Jointing, Household Connections, Road Restoration.
- Billing, Measurements, and Documentation: Measurement Books (MB) Record detailed daily measurements of earthwork, pipeline laying, structural items, and connection counts in official Joint Measurement Records (JMR). Maintain and submit Daily Progress Reports (DPR), Weekly Work Plans.
- Coordination & Stakeholder Liaison:



Coordinate with Gram Panchayats and Village Water & Sanitation Committees (VWSC) / Pani Samitis for right-of-way (RoW) clearance, land availability, and village-level approvals, Coordinate with Jal Nigam and Third-Party Inspection Agencies (TPIA) for stage-wise milestone sign-offs.

Qualifications & Experience

- Education: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil engineering.
- Experience: 3 to 4 years in project execution (preferably in large Infrastructure / water projects).

Key Skills & Competencies

- Practical knowledge of laying, alignment, bedding, and jointing of diverse pipe materials.
- Proficiency in Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) verification, staging/shuttering inspection, concrete mix monitoring, and curing.
- Competence in operating AutoLevels, survey tools to verify invert levels, gradient slopes, ground contours.
- Accurate recording of entries in official Measurement Books (MB), preparation of Joint Measurement Records (JMR), and processing contractor Running Account (RA) bills.
- Tactful negotiation with Gram Panchayats, village elders, and Pani Samitis to resolve Right-of-Way (RoW) disputes, crop compensation issues, and pipe routing objections.
