Scrum Master - Salesforce Delivery

The Role

As a Scrum Master - Salesforce Delivery, you will help accelerate Salesforce work, improve delivery predictability, and keep the full Salesforce team aligned through consistent Agile ceremonies, transparent communication, and disciplined use of Azure DevOps. This role is responsible for facilitating sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, release readiness discussions, and cross-team coordination to ensure work is clearly prioritized, actively progressing, and visible to stakeholders. You will partner closely with product owners, Salesforce administrators, developers, QA resources, analysts, architects, project leaders, and business stakeholders to remove impediments, manage dependencies, surface risks early, and help teams stay focused on committed sprint goals. The ideal candidate has strong Scrum Master experience, hands-on knowledge of Agile delivery practices, detailed experience managing work in Azure DevOps, and a practical understanding of Salesforce delivery lifecycles, including configuration, development, testing, deployment, release coordination, and post-release validation.

Responsibilities

Facilitate Agile ceremonies for the Salesforce team, including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, release planning, and ad hoc dependency or blocker discussions.

Drive team alignment by ensuring product owners, analysts, administrators, developers, QA resources, architects, and stakeholders have a shared understanding of sprint goals, priorities, dependencies, risks, and delivery expectations.

Expedite work by identifying stalled items, clarifying ownership, removing impediments, escalating blockers, and coordinating timely decisions across business and technical teams.

Maintain sprint discipline by helping the team protect committed work, manage capacity, reduce mid-sprint disruption, and keep backlog items properly refined, estimated, prioritized, and ready for delivery.

Own day-to-day Agile delivery tracking in Azure DevOps, including work item hygiene, sprint boards, backlog organization, epics, features, user stories, tasks, bugs, dependencies, tags, queries, dashboards, and delivery metrics.

Create clear visibility into delivery progress by maintaining accurate sprint boards, burn-down or burn-up views, velocity trends, cumulative flow insights, blocked-item reporting, aging work item views, and release readiness dashboards.

Partner with Product Owners and business stakeholders to ensure priorities are explicit, acceptance criteria are complete, scope is understood, and team capacity is considered before sprint commitments are made.

Coordinate Salesforce release readiness by aligning requirements, development,



configuration, QA testing, UAT, deployment windows, change communication, release notes, validation plans, and post-release support needs.

Support DevOps best practices by helping the team manage source control awareness, environment planning, deployment sequencing, branching strategy coordination, pull request visibility, build/release pipeline status, and defect resolution workflows.

Proactively identify delivery risks, system dependencies, resource constraints, unclear requirements, overloaded team members, and operational bottlenecks that could affect sprint or release outcomes.

Facilitate retrospectives that lead to measurable process improvements, clear action items, improved working agreements, and stronger team accountability across future sprints.

Promote consistent Agile practices, documentation standards, and DevOps discipline across the Salesforce delivery team while coaching team members on effective collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Education Experience :

o Minimum 5+ years of experience in Agile delivery, project delivery, Scrum Master, delivery manager, technical project management, or similar roles supporting software or enterprise application teams.

o Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience serving as a Scrum Master or Agile facilitator for Salesforce, CRM, ERP, enterprise applications, or technical delivery teams.

o Demonstrated experience facilitating Agile ceremonies, managing sprint cadence, removing impediments, coordinating dependencies, supporting release readiness, and improving delivery predictability.

o Experience working with distributed or remote teams, including collaboration with U.S.-based stakeholders, offshore delivery resources, and cross-functional business partners.

Technical Skills :

o Detailed experience with Azure DevOps, including epics, features, user stories, tasks, bugs, test plans, sprint boards, backlogs, queries, dashboards, tags, area paths, iteration paths, delivery plans, and reporting views.

o Strong understanding of DevOps delivery practices, including source control concepts, branching strategies, pull requests, build and release pipelines, environment coordination, deployment tracking, defect management, and release governance.

o Working knowledge of Salesforce delivery lifecycles, including requirements refinement, configuration, custom development, QA testing, UAT, deployment planning, release communication, production validation, and support handoff.





o Experience coordinating Salesforce deployments across sandboxes and production environments, including dependency tracking, sequencing, rollback awareness, release notes, and post-deployment validation.

o Ability to use delivery metrics such as velocity, sprint predictability, cycle time, throughput, burn-down, burn-up, blocked work, aging items, and defect trends to improve team performance and identify delivery risks.

o Familiarity with Agile frameworks and practices such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Scrum-of-Scrums, backlog refinement, estimation, capacity planning, definition of ready, definition of done, and continuous improvement.

o Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Lucidchart, Power BI, or similar tools for collaboration, reporting, process mapping, stakeholder communication, and executive-ready delivery updates.

Preferred :

o Certified ScrumMaster, Professional Scrum Master, SAFe Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, or related Agile certification.

o Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Business Analyst, Platform App Builder, or Trailhead training related to Salesforce delivery, DevOps, reporting, automation, security, or release management.

o Experience working with Salesforce DevOps tools or practices such as Copado, Gearset, Flosum, Salesforce DevOps Center, Git-based deployments, CI/CD pipelines, metadata deployments, or structured release governance.

o Experience supporting CRM, CPQ, sales operations, field operations, service operations, MA integration, SOX compliance, or enterprise application transformation initiatives.

o Experience creating Agile delivery dashboards, executive-ready status updates, release readiness reports, sprint health summaries, risk trackers, decision logs, and action item follow-ups.
