Description:

The role is responsible for engineering operations across the organization with independent ownership of HVAC systems and Building Management Systems (BMS) in pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. The role ensures quality, safety, reliability, cost, timeliness, and performance standards are consistently met through effective operation, monitoring, optimization, and maintenance of HVAC and BMS infrastructure. It interprets engineering plans, layouts, drawings, and specifications, analyzes system performance and compliance data, and ensures adherence to internal procedures and external regulatory standards. The position monitors technical, functional, cost, and schedule outcomes, supports validation and audit readiness, and drives continuous improvement and energy efficiency initiatives in a regulated workplace.

Essential Functions:

- Independently operate and monitor HVAC and BMS systems
- Support EM activities related to HVAC performance (temperature, RH, pressure trends) in classified areas
- Ensure HVAC and BMS systems are integrated into backup power (DG/UPS) strategies where applicable
- Plan and execute preventive,



predictive, and breakdown maintenance
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and system optimization
- Interpret and review HVAC layouts, PIDs, and technical drawings
- Analyze BMS data, trends, and performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Prepare, review, and maintain technical documentation and records
- Execute and support qualification, validation, and audit readiness activities
- Drive energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage vendor activities
- Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing programs

Additional Responsibilities:

Education: Bachelors Degree (B.E/ B.Tech) - Required

Experience: 1 to 4 Years
