Role Overview

Senior Technical Project Manager to deliver end to end planning, coordination and implementation of complex technology projects for our fintech and digital asset/crypto exchange clients.

This role serves as the primary delivery interface between our clients and a multi-disciplinary internal team across Product, Business Analysis, Engineering, QA, DevOps, Security, Compliance and Business Operations.

The ideal profile consists of a strong technical understanding alongside project management skills and proven track record delivering client-facing technology projects within FinTech, Banking, Payments, Digital Assets or Crypto Exchange setting.

Key Responsibilities Client Stakeholder Management

- Be the first point of contact for all day-to-day project-related issues with assigned clients.
- Strong client relationships and communication throughout the delivery are up.
- Understand the objectives priorities of client requirements and concerns dependencies.
- Hold often client meetings, project syncs, status review decision-making sessions.
- Set realistic expectations on the scope, timeline, delivery commitments, dependencies and risks.
- Document, evaluate and prioritize client requests, decisions and actions and channel them to the right teams.
- Align stakeholders including Product, BA, Engineering QA, DevOps Security Compliance and Business Operations.
- Have unambiguous ownership of deliverables, decisions and actions.
- Escalate material issues, blockers and delivery risks with well-defined impact and proposed next steps.

Technical Delivery Project Planning
- Take ownership for end-to-end delivery of assigned technology projects from initiation through production release.
- Of translating business and client requirements into an easily understandable form of delivery plans, milestones, workstreams and actionable tasks.
- Create and keep up with project plan, delivery roadmaps, timelines, and critical paths
- Scoped inputs, for example, huge drives into workstreams, epics, features and stories.
- Guide multi-functional technical teams to accomplish goals and execute deliverables on time.
- Manage against defined success criteria such as the scope to be delivered, timelines required, resources needed, dependencies that need to be managed and quality expected.
- Find technical constraints, dependencies and blockers for delivery.
- Keep projects plans realistic while based on available team capacity.
- Keep project documentation updated in Jira, Confluence or other applicable project management tools.

Agile Delivery
- Manage projects using Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
- Facilitate or coordinate Agile ceremonies, including:
- Sprint Planning
- Daily Stand-ups
- Backlog Refinement
- Sprint Reviews and Demos
- Retrospectives
- Work with Product Owners and Business Analysts to ensure the backlog is prioritized and ready for development.
- Ensure stories have clear requirements, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and ownership.
- Monitor sprint progress, commitments, velocity, risks, and impediments.
- Coordinate resolution of delivery blockers and promote continuous improvement across project teams.

Risk, Scope Change Management
- Keep project risks,



assumptions, issues and dependencies visible through a formal RAID process
- Predictively identify delivery risks before they affect timelines or commitments.
- It defines both mitigation and contingency plans with responsible owners
- Get visibility across internal, client, third-party and cross-project dependencies all the way through to closure.
- Manage project scope balanced against the client expectations and practical business needs.
- If new requests and scope changes arise, evaluate to determine how they affect timelines, resource needs, dependencies and existing commitments.
- Coordinate approved change requests with product, engineering, business operations and related stakeholders.
- Differentiate between planned work, unplanned work and client-driven ad-hoc requests.
- Uncontrolled scope creep and all changes to be reflected in delivery plans should be approved

Reporting, Governance Resource Coordination
- Provide clear and regular visibility of project health to clients and internal management.
- Prepare weekly project status reporting covering:
- Overall project status
- Progress and completed deliverables
- Upcoming activities and milestones
- Key risks, issues, dependencies, and blockers
- Scope or timeline changes
- Client actions and decisions required
- Upcoming releases
- Provide management visibility into:
- Delivery performance
- Resource requirements and capacity
- Major risks and escalations
- Delayed deliverables
- Cross-project dependencies
- Client concerns
- Upcoming releases and additional requests
- Work with Engineering Managers and Delivery Leads to identify resource and capacity requirements.
- Raise resource constraints early and support coordination of resource changes across projects where required.

FinTech / Crypto Exchange Delivery
- Manage technology projects within fintech, banking, payments, digital assets, or crypto exchange environments.
- Understand the delivery lifecycle and dependencies associated with products and integrations such as: Trading, Wallets, Deposits and Withdrawals, KYC/AML, User Onboarding, Payments, Fiat/Crypto Integrations, Liquidity, APIs, Third-Party Integrations, Security, Compliance, Back-Office Systems
- Understand how regulatory, security, compliance, and operational requirements affect delivery.
- Coordinate dependencies between business, product, technology, compliance, security, and external partners.

Quality Release Management
- Coordinate with QA to make sure testing efforts align with the release plan milestones
- Update on SIT and UAT readiness, execution and completion.
- Organize client UAT, feedback as well as issue resolution.
- So, defects should be prioritized based on severity and impact to business.
- Coordinate release readiness between Engineering, QA, DevOps, Product and client




- Put in place appropriate approval, documentation, contingency planning and rollback procedures for production releases.

Key Deliverables

The Senior Technical Project Manager is expected to maintain appropriate delivery and governance artifacts, including:

- Project plan and delivery roadmap
- Sprint and release plans
- Jira backlog and delivery tracking
- RAID and dependency tracking
- Resource and capacity planning
- Client and management status reporting
- Action and decision tracking
- Change request tracking
- UAT and release readiness tracking
- Project documentation in Confluence or equivalent tools

Required Experience
- Minimum 5+ years project management or technical project management experience
- Demonstrated experience in different phases of multiple complex technology initiatives from concept to production releases.
- Extensive experience within FinTech, Banking, Payments, Digital Assets or Crypto Exchange environments.
- Strong preference for experience in a crypto exchange.
- Excellent experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
- Direct Industry experience with dealing clients and handling client expectations.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams.
- Demonstrate a great understanding of software development life-cycle
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with using APIs and working with third-party technology integration.

Technical Knowledge
- Not require the candidate to be a developer, just technically competent in.
- Have a high-level understanding of system architecture.
- Understand API and integration dependencies.
- Know all about software development, testing, deployment and release lifecycles.
- Know about Development, QA/UAT, Staging and Production environments.
- Just as with any other project effort, this activity can uncover technical risks, constraints that will need to be addressed by further development or stakeholder involvement, and dependencies.
- Get an understanding of the database and infrastructure dependencies at a project-management level.
- Working on Communication with Engineering Managers, Architects and Senior Engineers
- Use questions informed by your understanding of the domain to challenge any unrealistic technical timelines, assumptions or dependencies you see.
