We are looking for a skilled, creative, and detail-oriented Female Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid command of language, excellent editing and proofreading skills, and a keen eye for detail. The selected candidate will be responsible for reviewing, editing, and refining content to ensure it is accurate, engaging, consistent, and aligned with the organizations editorial standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Edit and proofread articles, scripts, reports, social media content, and other written materials.
- Ensure content is grammatically correct, transparent, concise, engaging, and well-structured.
- Review content for spelling, punctuation, formatting, accuracy, and overall quality.
- Fact-check information and identify inconsistencies or inaccuracies.
- Coordinate with writers and other team members to improve content quality.
- Ensure all content follows the organizations tone, style, and editorial guidelines.
- Maintain consistency in language, formatting, terminology, and messaging across different content formats.
- Review content for originality and ensure appropriate editorial standards are followed.
- Meet assigned deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Stay updated with relevant industry trends, digital content practices,



and emerging editorial standards.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, English, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in editing, journalism, publishing, digital media, or content creation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong command of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure.
- Excellent proofreading and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to identify factual, grammatical, and structural issues in content.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with writers and other team members.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with digital content and social media platforms will be an added advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience editing digital and social media content.
- Knowledge of SEO and online publishing practices.
- Strong research and fact-checking abilities.
- Creative approach to improving readability and audience engagement.
- Familiarity with commonly used content management systems and editing tools.
