Location: Ghilot, Neemrana

We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Assistant Manager Railway Division to lead the design, development, and lifecycle management of core railway sub-systems, specifically Railway Pantographs and Electrical Connectors. In this leadership role, you will drive end-to-end product realizationfrom concept and prototyping to testing, compliance, and mass productionwhile mentoring junior engineers and ensuring full adherence to railway industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Core Product Design & Development

- Lead end-to-end product development life cycles (Concept $rightarrow$ Design $rightarrow$ Prototype $rightarrow$ Testing $rightarrow$ Production).
- Railway Pantographs: Manage mechanical arrangement, component design, material selection, engineering calculations, and design validation. Ensure compliance with specific railway standards and oversee prototype trials.
- Railway Connectors: Design electrical/electromechanical connectors including housings, contacts, and locking arrangements, ensuring strict adherence to environmental and application specifications.

2. Engineering Documentation & Standards Compliance

- Prepare and review 2D manufacturing drawings, 3D models, assembly drawings,



and Bills of Materials (BOMs) with strict revision control.
- Review customer, RDSO, RCF, and railway specifications to translate requirements into actionable design inputs.
- Manage ISO documentation and CCA approval processes hands-on.

3. Cross-Functional Coordination & Quality Assurance

- Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Purchase, Testing, and Current Product Development (NPD) teams for seamless product realization.
- Support DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), design reviews, and risk assessments.
- Analyze design failures, field issues, and customer feedback to implement robust corrective design improvements.
- Guide and mentor junior design engineers, providing technical support across the design team.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

- Education: B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 10 to 15 years of relevant product design experience within the Railway Industry.
- Additional Product Awareness: Working-level knowledge of IV Coupler (Inter-Vehicular Coupler), WSEE, FIBA, and ASCE (Air Suspension Control Equipment).
