Role & responsibilities

- Perform procedures: Conduct minimally invasive, catheter-based procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, and valve repair.
- Diagnose conditions: Evaluate patients using advanced imaging and diagnostic tools to identify and diagnose heart and blood vessel conditions.
- Develop treatment plans: Create and implement comprehensive, personalized treatment plans for patients with cardiac issues.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams: Work with a multidisciplinary team, including cardiac surgeons, electrophysiologists, and other specialists, to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Manage patient care: Oversee patient follow-up care, monitor treatment progress, and educate patients on their conditions and treatment options.
- Stay current: Keep up-to-date with the latest research, advancements, and techniques in interventional cardiology through continuing education.
- Educate others: Mentor and educate medical students, residents, and fellows.
