Job Summary

Build and own the COCO Store Governance system. During Phase 1, act as the sole accountable owner for every governance parameter. After the signed Phase 2 handover, retain accountability for the integrated standard, management reporting, calibration and escalation system.

Role detail

- Reports to: Head of Retail Operations
- Direct reports: Two analysts in Phase 1 and seven team members in Phase 2
- Location: Head Office Bengaluru with travel as required

Key responsibilities

- Own metric definitions, source hierarchy, baselines, thresholds and version control for all commercial, footfall, lead, CX and execution parameters.
- Approve the daily exception report and distinguish data defects, system failures, temporary variance and persistent store-performance gaps.
- Own Amply and Photios adoption, access, evidence rules, vendor SLA, information-security coordination and data-export readiness.
- Maintain the finding, action, evidence, ageing, critical-escalation and closure-verification registers.
- Direct and quality-check analysts; retain final sign-off and accountability for all published numbers and observations.
- Run weekly and monthly reviews with RMs, TLs, Technology, Finance, Marketing, Training and other action owners.
- Prepare the Retail Head governance pack, quantify risk and recovery opportunity, and recommend continue, correct, expand or stop.




- Design and sign off the Phase 2 RACI, audit programme and stock-control handover before responsibility is transferred.

Performance measures

- Parameter coverage: Every approved KPI has definition, source, threshold, owner and control status
- Reporting: All daily, weekly and monthly outputs issued accurately and on time
- Closure: Critical and overdue findings escalated; repeat failures reduced
- Platform control: Adoption, evidence, access, uptime and vendor SLA meet target
- Phase 2 readiness: RACI, roles, audit tool and handover controls approved before transition

Authority and boundaries

May approve or reject evidence, definitions and Phase 1 reports; may keep actions open and escalate critical or repeat failure. Does not hire, roster, coach store staff, change sales targets or close line-owned actions.

Candidate profile

- Seven to ten years in multi-site retail operations, audit, controls or performance governance.
- Advanced retail KPI, Excel or BI, reconciliation and management-reporting capability.
- Solid independence, evidence discipline, leadership and cross-functional influence.
- Graduate required; MBA, audit or analytics exposure preferred.
