We are looking for a Manager with strong experience in US Information Reporting and Tax Compliance, particularly FATCA, CRS, Forms 1099, 1042-S, W-8 and W-9. The role will involve managing client engagements, reviewing tax reporting processes, handling complex technical matters, and leading a team of tax professionals.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end US Information Reporting engagements covering Forms 1099, 1042-S, W-8/W-9, FATCA and CRS.

- Review and oversee preparation, validation and filing of various IRS information returns.

- Provide technical guidance on FATCA and CRS classification, documentation and reporting requirements.

- Review W-8 series and W-9 forms and determine appropriate documentation and withholding requirements.

- Oversee 1099 reporting, including classification, reporting requirements, corrections and reconciliations.

- Manage 1042/1042-S reporting and withholding for payments to foreign persons.

- Perform quality reviews and identify potential compliance, documentation and reporting risks.

- Interpret relevant IRS regulations, instructions, notices and tax reporting requirements.





- Coordinate with onshore teams/clients and manage deliverables, deadlines and escalations.

- Lead, coach and develop junior team members and review their work.

- Support process improvements, automation and standardization within the tax reporting function.

- Participate in client calls and explain technical issues and reporting positions clearly.

- Manage multiple engagements and ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

Required Qualifications

- CPA completed or actively pursuing preferred/required.

- EA Enrolled Agent completed or actively pursuing preferred/required.

Typically 610+ years of relevant US Tax / Information Reporting experience, with people-management or supervisory experience.

Strong knowledge of:

- FATCA

- CRS

- Form 1099 series

- Form 1042 / 1042-S

- W-8BEN / W-8BEN-E

- W-9

- US withholding and information-reporting requirements.

- Experience working with US clients / Big 4 / accounting firms / financial institutions is advantageous.

- Solid analytical, communication, client-management and team-management skills.
