Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled DevOps / Cloud Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in CI/CD, infrastructure automation, containerization, Kubernetes, and AWS cloud services. The ideal candidate should have strong scripting and automation skills using Python and Ansible, along with experience managing GitHub-based development and deployment workflows.

Knowledge of IBM WebSphere Server and exposure to UiPath RPA will be an added advantage and may be required based on project needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, pull requests, and release workflows using GitHub.
- Automate infrastructure and application deployment using Ansible.
- Develop Python scripts for automation, operational tasks, and integration requirements.
- Build, manage, and troubleshoot Docker containers.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications on Kubernetes and Amazon EKS.
- Work with AWS services including:
- Amazon EC2
- AWS Lambda
- Amazon VPC
- Amazon EKS
- AWS IAM
- AWS KMS

- Implement and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable deployment processes.
- Monitor application and infrastructure health and troubleshoot deployment/runtime issues.
- Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, and application teams to improve deployment automation and operational efficiency.
- Support application deployments and administration involving IBM WebSphere Server.
- Contribute to automation initiatives using UiPath RPA, where required.
- Follow DevOps best practices for security, version control, automation, and infrastructure management.




- Participate in incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
- Good experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.
- Strong scripting/programming skills in Python.
- Hands-on experience with Docker.
- Good knowledge of Kubernetes, preferably including Amazon EKS.
- Working knowledge of AWS, particularly:

- EC2
- Lambda
- VPC
- EKS
- IAM
- KMS

- Knowledge of IBM WebSphere Server administration and deployment.
- Good understanding of CI/CD concepts and DevOps practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

- Experience with UiPath RPA and automation workflows.
- Experience supporting enterprise Java/WebSphere-based applications.
- Knowledge of AWS security and access-management practices.
- Experience with cloud-native application deployment and container orchestration.
- Exposure to monitoring, logging, and production support environments.

Education & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Automation, or Application Deployment.
- Candidates with strong hands-on experience across the required technology stack will be preferred.
