Sports Coach Job Description

Job Responsibilities

- Plan and conduct structured sports training sessions for students.

- Teach sport-specific skills, techniques, rules, and game strategies.

- Develop students fitness, coordination, stamina, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

- Organize regular practice sessions, drills, and friendly matches.

- Identify students’ strengths and areas for improvement and provide appropriate guidance.

- Prepare students for inter-school competitions, tournaments, and sports events.

- Ensure proper use, safety, and maintenance of sports equipment.

- Maintain discipline and follow all school safety guidelines during training.





- Coordinate with the Sports Department and school management for sports activities and events.

- Encourage students to participate actively and develop a positive attitude towards sports.

Eligibility

- Relevant qualification/certification in the respective sport will be preferred.

- Previous experience as a sports coach, preferably in a school or educational institution.

- Robust knowledge of the respective sport and practical coaching skills.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively with school students of different age groups.

- Candidates with experience in conducting competitions and preparing students for tournaments will be preferred.
