SAP Commerce Frontend Developer Vue.js

Job Overview:-

We are looking for an experienced SAP Commerce Frontend Developer with strong expertise in Vue.js to design, develop, customize, and maintain modern e-commerce storefront applications integrated with SAP Commerce Cloud/Hybris.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain responsive, scalable, and high-performance e-commerce storefronts using Vue.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend frameworks.
- Work closely with SAP Commerce Cloud/Hybris backend teams to integrate frontend applications with OCC/REST APIs.
- Develop and customize key e-commerce functionalities including Product Catalog, Product Details, Search, Cart, Checkout, Customer Account, Login, Order History, and Payments.
- Build reusable and modular Vue.js components following frontend development best practices.
- Integrate frontend applications with SAP Commerce Cloud services, CMS, and backend APIs.
- Implement responsive UI designs based on Figma/design specifications and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Optimize application performance, page load time, SEO, accessibility, and overall user experience.
- Troubleshoot frontend issues, perform debugging, and participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in application upgrades, enhancements, testing, deployment, and production support.

Mandatory Skills





- 5+ years of experience in Frontend Development with strong hands-on experience in Vue.js.
- Robust experience with Vue.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Commerce Cloud / SAP Hybris storefront development.
- Experience integrating frontend applications with SAP Commerce OCC/REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, asynchronous programming, and API integration.
- Experience with Vuex/Pinia or similar state-management frameworks.
- Good understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with Git, npm/yarn, CI/CD, and frontend build tools.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have

- Experience with Vue Storefront or other Vue-based commerce storefront solutions.
- Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud CMS / SmartEdit.
- Knowledge of e-commerce architecture and customer journey flows.
- Exposure to Docker, Azure/AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployments.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Knowledge of SEO, web accessibility, and frontend performance optimization.
