About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Associate Partner - Finance Accounting to lead large and complex Finance Accounting service delivery engagements and/or multiple mid-sized engagements supporting international clients.

The role will be responsible for managing end-to-end service delivery, client relationships, operational performance, process improvement, and large-scale teams. The ideal candidate should have solid experience managing Finance Accounting operations in India while supporting US-based clients or stakeholders.

The position requires a strong combination of operational leadership, client management, people leadership, process excellence, and financial services domain expertise.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage large, complex Finance Accounting engagements or multiple mid-sized engagements.

- Own the end-to-end delivery of Finance Accounting services, ensuring agreed objectives, SLAs, quality standards, and business outcomes are achieved.

- Manage a team of approximately 100+ professionals across multiple processes, clients, or geographies.

- Lead both transition/build and steady-state/run operations for Finance Accounting engagements.

- Manage day-to-day relationships with clients and senior stakeholders, including US-based stakeholders.

- Support regular service reviews, performance reviews, governance meetings,



and operational discussions.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders and internal leadership teams.

- Ensure achievement of agreed service levels, productivity, quality, turnaround time, and customer satisfaction metrics.

- Drive continuous improvement, process standardization, automation, and operational efficiency initiatives.

- Identify opportunities to improve service quality while optimizing operating costs.

- Develop a strong understanding of the technology platforms and tools supporting Finance Accounting service delivery.

- Ensure effective risk management and adherence to applicable statutory, regulatory, compliance, and contractual requirements.

- Identify operational risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.

- Ensure consistent delivery standards across multiple processes and teams.

- Build strong internal networks and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational and client requirements.

- Coach, mentor, and develop managers and team members to build a strong leadership pipeline.

- Drive a culture of accountability, operational excellence, customer focus, and continuous improvement.





- Support business growth initiatives, new transitions, expansions, and transformation programs as required.

Candidate Profile
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

- Professional qualifications such as CA, CMA, MBA Finance, or equivalent would be an advantage.

- Significant experience in Finance Accounting operations / managed services / shared services / BPO / GBS environments.

- Proven experience managing large teams of 100+ professionals.

- Strong experience managing Finance Accounting operations from India for US-based clients or stakeholders.

- Experience managing large and complex client engagements or multiple concurrent engagements.

- Strong understanding of service delivery, SLA management, operational governance, quality, productivity, and process improvement.

- Demonstrated experience in senior-level client and stakeholder management.

- Strong people leadership and team-building capabilities.

- Experience with process transformation, standardization, automation, and technology-enabled service delivery.

- Strong understanding of operational risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
