To ensure timely and accurate accounting of GST transactions, maximize eligible Input Tax Credit (ITC) through effective reconciliation and stakeholder coordination, maintain GST compliance and documentation, and support period-end closing and audit requirements while minimizing GST credit leakages and statutory risks
Key Responsibilities of Role
- Ensure timely identification and follow-up of GST Input Tax Credit (ITC) / CENVAT-related transactions with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform three-way reconciliation of GST Invoices, Books of Accounts, and GSTR-2B data, and ensure accurate accounting in compliance with GST regulations.
- Maintain proper GST documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes.
- Coordinate effectively with various departments to resolve operational issues and ensure seamless process execution.
- To perform month-end and year-end closing activities and support internal, statutory, and GST audits by ensuring timely availability of required information and documentation.
- Periodically GST Pendency reporting to various internal stakeholders
Qualification: master's degree in finance or commerce Experience: 2-3 Years of experience in accounting of Treasury Instrument and positive exposure in backend operations of Treasury instruments
