Especially GST/SEZ requirements for a jewellery technical service provider company.

The Senior Application Engineer Metal Additive Manufacturing is responsible for the development, optimization, application, and technical support of metal additive manufacturing processes, with a primary focus on Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF/SLM) and metal powder development for Jewellery application.

The role involves end-to-end technical activities covering metal powder development through ultrasonic atomization, powder characterization and qualification, LPBF process development, build strategy optimization, component design feasibility, DfAM, metallurgical characterization, defect analysis, and application development.

The position is expected to contribute to both customer-focused application development and internal R&D; initiatives aimed at developing new materials, improving process reliability, reducing material wastage, and expanding the organization's metal additive manufacturing capabilities

1. Metal Additive Manufacturing Process Development

6. Metallurgical Characterization & Failure Analysis

7. Heat Treatment & Post-Processing

10. Cross-Functional & Customer Collaboration

The role should contribute toward:

Relevant industry experience in *Metal Additive Manufacturing, Application Engineering, Powder Metallurgy, Materials Engineering, Process Development, R&D;, or related technical domains*.

Hands-on experience in both *metal powder development/processing and LPBF/SLM process development* would be highly preferred.
