Job Description

Tech Mahindra – TIM (Lotus) is hiring Desktop Support Engineers – L2 with a minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in desktop/laptop support and IT infrastructure troubleshooting.

The candidate will be responsible for providing L2 technical support to users, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide L2 desktop and end-user technical support.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, OS, application, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Handle Windows OS-related troubleshooting and technical issues.
- Perform system configuration, software installation, and updates.
- Troubleshoot connectivity, LAN, Wi-Fi, and basic network issues.
- Manage and resolve user incidents and service requests within defined SLAs.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate technical teams.




- Maintain proper documentation of incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
- Provide excellent customer/user support and ensure timely issue resolution.

Required Skills

- 2+ years of relevant experience as a Desktop Support Engineer – L2 is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of desktop/laptop troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of Windows Operating Systems.
- Knowledge of hardware, software, printers, peripherals, and basic networking.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
- IT support/helpdesk experience will be an added advantage.

Compensation

CTC: 23,100
Approx. In-Hand: 18,000

Interview Process

Interview Mode: Face-to-Face ONLY

Interview Timing: 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM

F2F interview is mandatory. Candidates who are unable to attend the face-to-face interview should not apply.
