Position: US Tax Manager

Location: Mumbai, India

Work Mode: In-office / Hybrid

Experience: 7+ years in US Tax | 4+ years in a Managerial role

Qualification: CPA / CA / EA with a degree in Accounting or Finance

Key Responsibilities:

Review and prepare complex US tax returns for:

- Partnerships

- Corporations

- Individuals

- Trusts and Estates

- Non-profits

- Other US tax filings, including W-2s and 1099s

- Communicate with clients and Project CREs to obtain information required for tax returns and other projects.

- Coordinate with US teams and clients to gather relevant tax information and ensure completeness and accuracy of returns.

- Review tax accruals and participate in meetings with auditors regarding tax-related matters.

- Manage client relationships by understanding client requirements and delivering value-added services.

- Communicate with clients, the IRS,



and other business professionals as required.

- Evaluate costs, benefits, and risks associated with alternative solutions to client tax issues.

- Conduct tax research and support special tax projects as required.

- Identify opportunities to contribute to the development of business and practice lines.

- Supervise, manage, and delegate work to tax professionals within the team.

- Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members.

- Conduct and participate in career development and technical training programs.

- Ensure quality, accuracy, and timely completion of assigned tax engagements.

- Perform other accounting and tax-related responsibilities as assigned.
