This role sits within Engineering Governance supporting Network Engineering platforms and strategic initiatives. The primary purpose is to design, develop, enhance and maintain scalable enterprise-grade full-stack web applications using Django, Django REST Framework (DRF) and React. The engineer will build API-first architectures, modern user experiences, high-performance data services and integration-heavy platforms supporting telecom engineering and operational processes. Experience in geospatial systems and optical or packet telecommunications is highly desirable.

The successful candidate should demonstrate a modern engineering mindset, effectively leveraging AI-powered development tools and practices to enhance productivity, code quality, and solution delivery.

Expereinced in software engineering experience.

Backend: Python, Django, Django REST Framework, REST APIs, JWT, OAuth2, RBAC, Celery,



Redis, Django Channels, FastAPI exposure, Pydantic, API design and optimization.

Frontend: React.js, JavaScript ES6+, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Hooks, Redux Toolkit, React Query/TanStack Query, Context API, Zustand, API-driven UI design, scalable frontend architecture.

State Management Expertise: Solid understanding of Local State, Global State and Server State management strategies.

AI-Driven Development: Hands-on experience leveraging AI-powered development tools (GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT/LLM-based assistants or equivalent) to accelerate software development, code optimization, test automation, debugging, documentation, rapid prototyping, and delivery of high-quality backend and frontend solutions. Exposure to integrating AI/LLM capabilities into enterprise applications.

Databases: PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, query optimization, indexing, large-scale data handling.

DevOps: Git, GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube, Docker, CI/CD. Exposure to Kubernetes and cloud platforms preferred.

Architecture: Distributed systems, microservices, caching, fault tolerance, observability and performance engineering.

Preferred Domain Experience: GIS/Geospatial systems, spatial analytics, telecom OSS/BSS, optical networks, packet networks, inventory and capacity management platforms.

Added Advantage: Kafka, RabbitMQ, GraphQL, cloud-native architectures.
