Job Title: Senior Accountant US Accounting (US GAAP & NetSuite)

- Shift Timings: Night Shift / US Shift (Minimum 6-hour overlap with US Eastern Time)

Role Overview

On behalf of our client, a fast-growing financial technology company serving NASDAQ-listed and high-growth US businesses, we are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant.

In this role, you will work closely with US finance leadership and the Financial Controller, taking end-to-end ownership of day-to-day accounting, NetSuite GL management, balance sheet reconciliations, and month/quarter-end close activities across multi-entity international structures.

Key Responsibilities

- NetSuite & Core Accounting: Execute general ledger entries, vendor billings, payment runs, and daily transaction coding in NetSuite while maintaining audit-ready documentation.
- Month-End & Quarter-End Close: Manage month-end close schedules, accruals, prepayments, payroll liability reconciliations, and intercompany accounts across multiple global entities.
- Balance Sheet & FX Reconciliations: Reconcile cash, bank, and credit card accounts. Execute foreign currency (FX) revaluations and maintain accurate schedules for cash-equivalent investments.
- Equity & Public Company Support: Prepare RSU/equity-related calculations, director fee documentation, and intercompany management fee accruals.




- Audit & Financial Controls: Assist the Controller with consolidation entries, financial statement schedules, SOX control compliance, and external audit (PBC) support.
- Process Ownership: Independently investigate reconciliation variances, resolve routine accounting issues, and identify opportunities to automate recurring workflows.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Education: CA / CPA / ACCA / CMA (Qualified or Part-Qualified) with strong practical US GAAP experience.
- Experience: Minimum 4+ years of core hands-on experience in US GAAP and general ledger accounting.
- Software Expertise: Hands-on working experience with NetSuite is highly preferred.
- Core Skills: Multi-entity close, intercompany reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, FX revaluations, and advanced Excel skills.
- Public Company / Audit Exposure: Prior experience supporting US public companies, SOX environments, or RSU/equity accounting is a strong plus.
- Communication & Shift: Excellent English communication skills for working directly with US stakeholders, with full commitment to working US Eastern Time (ET) overlap hours.
