Role & responsibilities -

- Lead overall drone product development and engineering strategy.
- Oversee airframe, propulsion, electronics, avionics, flight-control and payload systems.
- Manage prototype development, testing and design validation.
- Drive product cost, performance, reliability and manufacturability.
- Coordinate with certification and regulatory teams.
- Lead engineering teams and external technology partners.
- Design and develop drone airframes and mechanical structures.
- Perform CAD modelling, structu ral analysis and weight optimization.
- Develop prototypes and support testing.
- Work with manufacturing engineers to ensure designs are production-ready.
- Work on sensors, controllers, firmware and communication interfaces.
- Perform hardware/software integration and flight testing.
- Troubleshoot stability, navigation and system-performance issues.
- Conduct component qualification and environmental testing.




- Support troubleshooting of production units.
- Develop ground-control applications and supporting software.
- Integrate telemetry, mission-planning and fleet-management functions.
- Implement software testing, version control and documentation
- Manage applicable aviation, drone and product-compliance requirements.
- Coordinate certification/testing documentation.
- Maintain compliance records and technical files.
- Liaise with relevant regulatory and certification authorities.
- Develop maintenance procedures and service documentation
- Solid knowledge of DGCA Type certification

Preferred candidate profile

Preferred: Degree in aerospace, mechanical, electronics, robotics or related engineering;
