The role will involve
managing a team of credit professionals
and overseeing the end-to-end credit function across the southern region, with a strong focus on credit quality, policy adherence, risk management, and business support.
Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage the
Zonal Credit team
across South India • Oversee credit appraisal, assessment, sanction and portfolio quality across the region • Ensure effective implementation of credit policies, processes and risk frameworks • Drive portfolio monitoring and proactively identify credit risks • Partner closely with Sales and Business teams to enable quality business growth • Review complex/high-value credit proposals and provide sound credit recommendations • Monitor portfolio performance, delinquency trends and early warning indicators • Coach, develop and manage the regional credit team • Ensure solid governance,
compliance and adherence to internal credit guidelines • Work closely with the
National Credit Manager
on regional credit strategy and portfolio performance
