Apprentice / Intern Operations Support & Science SME (Physics & Chemistry)

The Role & Responsibilities:
We are looking for an Apprentice / Intern to support day-to-day operational workflows for one of our student-focused services. In addition to operational support, the ideal candidate brings strong subject expertise in Science (Physics and Chemistry) and working knowledge of AI model training practices such as red teaming, enabling them to contribute to subject-specific quality checks and AI training projects from time to time.
The role requires extensive work on computer systems, strong attention to detail, and responsible handling of confidential information.
Core Job Activities:
Support operational workflows end to end: review incoming requests on the team dashboard, process them accurately, and keep request statuses and records up to date.
Communicate professionally through designated workflow channels, and document outcomes and reasons clearly.
¢ Handle documents and personal information in line with the organizations data privacy and confidentiality policies.
¢ Perform subject-specific quality checks for Physics and Chemistry content (solution reviews, accuracy and completeness evaluation).
¢ Support AI training workflows, including red teaming exercises, model response evaluation, and related quality/feedback tasks.




¢ Work on domain-specific ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
¢ B.Sc / M.Sc in Physics, Chemistry, or a related Science discipline (or B.Tech with strong Physics/Chemistry fundamentals).
¢ Robust subject knowledge in Physics and Chemistry, with the ability to evaluate the accuracy and quality of academic content.
¢ Working knowledge of AI model training concepts such as red teaming, prompt evaluation, or response quality assessment.
¢ Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word) and comfort working across web-based tools and dashboards.
¢ Strong written English communication skills for professional communication and documentation.
¢ High attention to detail and a strong sense of confidentiality and data responsibility.
Good to Have:
¢ Prior exposure to LLM evaluation, AI safety, annotation, or data labeling projects.
¢ Experience working with web-based portals, dashboards, or workflow tools.
¢ Familiarity with quality review rubrics or academic content standards.
Experience:
Fresher / 0 1 year. Students, recent graduates, and faculty with strong subject knowledge are welcome to apply.
