Instructional Designer (ID) Training Design & Standards
Role Summary
The Instructional Designer (ID) is responsible for designing and developing engaging, interactive, and scalable learning content aligned to organizational SOPs, training standards, and business requirements. This role converts process knowledge and documentation into learner-friendly digital training experiences that support capability development, OJT readiness, and workforce scalability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Interactive Learning Content Development
- Develop engaging training content using tools such as:
- Canva
- Articulate Storyline / Rise
- LMS platforms
- Other digital learning tools
- Convert SOPs and process documentation into:
- Interactive learning modules
- E-learning content
- Simulations
- Assessments
2. AI-Enabled Content Development & Innovation
- Leverage AI tools such as:
- ChatGPT
- Gemini
- Claude
- Other AI-enabled content/design tools
to accelerate:
- Content creation
- Learning design
- Assessments and quizzes
- Scenario-based simulations
- Training modernization initiatives
- Continuously explore creative learning approaches to improve:
- Learner engagement
- Content scalability
- Training efficiency
3. Training Material Modernization
- Support transition from traditional instructor-led training digital and interactive learning
- Improve learner engagement through:
- Visual learning
- Scenario-based learning
- Microlearning approaches
- Ensure training content is:
- Easy to understand
- Interactive
- Scalable
4. LMS & Digital Learning Support
- Develop LMS-compatible learning modules
- Organize and maintain digital learning assets
- Support implementation and enhancement of LMS initiatives
5. Collaboration with Training Design Team
- Work closely with:
- Process Excellence Lead process accuracy
- SOP Governance Specialist documentation standards
- Global Training Leader learning design strategy
- Incorporate:
- QA insights
- Process updates
- Business feedback into training content
6. Assessments & Simulations
- Create:
- Knowledge checks
- Assessments
- Simulated learning environments
- Support development of non-client dependent OJT learning models
7. Content Governance & Maintenance
- Ensure:
- Consistency in design standards
- Content version control
- Regular updates to learning material
- Maintain alignment with:
- SOP updates
- Process changes
- Organizational standards
Qualifications & Experience
- 25 years of experience in:
- Instructional Design
- E-learning Content Development
- Training Content Development
- Experience in creating digital learning content preferred
- Exposure to AI-assisted content development tools preferred
- RCM / Healthcare domain knowledge preferred (not mandatory)
