Job Title: SAP MM Functional Consultant

Experience: 810 Years of SAP Experience

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP MM Functional Consultant with 810 years of overall SAP experience and a minimum of 5 years of functional experience in SAP Materials Management (MM).

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in SAP MM implementation, support, enhancements, integrations, and business process consulting. Prior experience and familiarity with the Vertex Tax Engine is mandatory.

The candidate should possess strong integration knowledge with other SAP modules and be capable of coordinating with business process owners and solution architects to gather and translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure, implement, and support SAP MM solutions based on business requirements.
- Coordinate with business process owners and solution architects to understand and gather functional requirements.
- Work on enhancements and developments related to SAP MM business processes.
- Analyze business requirements and provide appropriate functional solutions.
- Support integration activities between SAP MM and other SAP modules.
- Coordinate with technical teams for functional specifications, enhancements, interfaces, and developments.
- Participate in testing, defect resolution, and production support activities.
- Work in Agile/Scrum environments and track activities using JIRA.

Required Skills & Experience

- 8–10 years of overall SAP experience.
- Minimum 5 years of functional experience in SAP Materials Management (MM).
- Prior experience and familiarity with the Vertex Tax Engine is mandatory.
- Strong integration knowledge with SAP PP, QM, SD,



and FICO modules.
- Good exposure to SAP enhancements and developments.
- Ability to coordinate with business process owners and solution architects to gather and understand requirements.
- Strong knowledge of the following SAP MM and Logistics processes:
- Scheduling Agreements
- Subcontracting
- Quota Arrangements
- Stock Placement and Stock Removal
- Internal Warehouse Management (WM) Movements
- Handling Units
- Logistics Execution (LE) Module
- Output Processes across SAP modules

- Strong knowledge of SAP functional modules, user exits, programs, and tables relevant to business processes.
- Knowledge of HP ALM Testing will be an added advantage.
- Exposure to Scrum methodology and JIRA tools is preferred.
- Working knowledge of RFID technology.
- Experience with printer configuration related to SAP WM and barcode printing.
- Knowledge of serial number generation in SAP for 3PL and 4PL processes.
- Strong understanding of the SAP Pricing Procedure.
- Working knowledge of interfaces involving:

- 3PL
- 4PL
- APO
- APS

- Experience with Stock Transport Order (STO) processes.
- Strong knowledge of Batch Management.
- Experience with Release Strategy configuration and processes.
