We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with 6+ years of experience in DevOps practices, automation, CI/CD, containerization, and deployment management. The candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining automated deployment pipelines, managing application environments, improving release processes, and ensuring reliable application delivery across development, testing, and production environments.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Git, Linux, and scripting. Experience with cloud platforms is an added advantage but is not the primary focus of this role.

Role & Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application build, testing, and deployment.
- Automate application deployment and release processes across multiple environments.
- Build, configure, and manage Docker containers.
- Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes.
- Develop and maintain Jenkins pipelines for continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform.
- Manage source code repositories using Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
- Develop automation scripts using Shell/Bash or Python.
- Monitor application deployments and troubleshoot build and deployment failures.
- Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for production and deployment issues.
- Implement automated testing and quality checks within CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage application configuration across development, testing, and production environments.
- Work with development and QA teams to improve software release and deployment processes.
- Implement deployment automation, rollback strategies, and release management.
- Manage Kubernetes deployments, services, pods, namespaces, and configurations.
- Work with Helm Charts for application packaging and deployment.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for applications and DevOps environments.




- Participate in incident management and provide L2/L3 production support.
- Maintain technical documentation for pipelines, deployments, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Follow DevOps, Agile, SDLC, and automation best practices.

Mandatory Skills

- 6+ years of experience in DevOps
- Strong hands-on experience in CI/CD
- Robust experience with Jenkins
- Hands-on experience with Docker
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
- Good knowledge of Git and Linux
- Strong scripting experience in Shell/Bash or Python

Preferred Skills

- Experience with AWS/Azure is an added advantage.
- Experience with Helm Charts and Kubernetes deployments.
- Knowledge of Ansible or configuration-management tools.
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of Prometheus and Grafana.
- Experience with ELK/EFK for logging.
- Knowledge of Argo CD / GitOps.
- Experience with microservices and containerized applications.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps and security practices.
- Experience with automated testing and deployment strategies.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
