ABOUT THE ROLE
Lion King Cafe is looking for an experienced and responsible Cafe Manager / Store In-Charge to independently manage our new Karapakkam outlet.
We are looking for someone with an "owner's mindset" who can take complete responsibility for daily store operations, sales, staff, stock, customer service and cash management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage complete day-to-day cafe operations
• Lead and supervise kitchen, service and billing staff
• Achieve daily/monthly sales targets
• Monitor sales, bills and average bill value
• Ensure food quality, portion control and presentation
• Manage inventory, purchasing, stock levels and wastage
• Handle POS, cash, UPI and daily reconciliation
• Manage Swiggy/Zomato and online orders
• Maintain hygiene, cleanliness and food-safety standards
• Handle customer complaints and improve customer experience
• Monitor staff attendance, grooming and performance
• Implement company SOPs and operational controls
• Submit daily sales, stock and operational reports
• Identify problems and take corrective action without waiting for the owner
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO IS
Experienced in Cafe / QSR / Restaurant operations
Strong in staff management
Sales-oriented and commercially aware
Honest and responsible with cash & stock
Good at customer handling
Comfortable using POS systems
Able to manage Swiggy/Zomato orders
Good at inventory and wastage control
Able to work independently during busy hours
Willing to take complete ownership of the outlet
EXPERIENCE
Preferred: 24+ years in Cafe / QSR / Restaurant / Food-Service Operations.
Previous experience as a Cafe Manager, Restaurant Manager, Store Manager or Outlet In-Charge will be an advantage.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
The Manager will be responsible for:
SALES STAFF FOOD QUALITY STOCK CASH CUSTOMER SERVICE PROFITABILITY
