We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer with strong hands-on experience in AS400/IBM i, RPG, CL, Embedded SQL and DB2. The role involves application development, production support, troubleshooting, enhancements, and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, enhance and maintain RPG/CL applications on AS400.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Work with DB2, SQL, service programs and web services.
- Analyze requirements and implement application fixes and enhancements.
- Review code and provide technical guidance to developers.
- Participate in requirement/grooming discussions with business and IT teams.
- Support incident, problem and change management activities.
- Provide production and on-call support when required.

Key Skills & Experience:

- 5+ years of experience in AS400/IBM i development.
- Solid RPG/RPGLE, CL/CLLE, Embedded SQL and DB2 skills.
- Experience with SFTP/Secure FTP, PGP, Web Services and Error Handling.
- 3+ years of Team Lead/Technical Lead experience.
- Financial Services/Mortgage Servicing experience preferred.

COBOL and LSAMS experience will be an advantage
