Job Description - Safety Officer

1. EHS Compliance & Statutory Requirements
2. Risk Assessment & Hazard Control
3. Shop-Floor Safety
4. Permit to Work System
5. Incident & Accident Management
6. Emergency Preparedness
7. Fire & Life Safety
8. Environmental Management
9. Safety Training & Awareness
10. Inspection & Audit
11. PPE & Safety Equipment
12. Occupational Health
13. Safety Performance Monitoring
14. Positive knowledge of Factories Act, applicable EHS legislation, risk assessment, PTW, LOTO, fire safety and emergency management.

Preferred candidate profile

- Diploma / Degree (UG/PG) with Industrial Safety / RLI DIS / NEBOSH (Preferred) As applicable for approved Safety Officer
- NEBOSH / IOSH / ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification added advantage.
- 5-8 years of relevant Safety Officer experience, preferably in heavy engineering / fabrication / manufacturing industry.
