We are looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support the maintenance and smooth operation of paper/board manufacturing machines and electrical systems at the plant.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in plant electrical maintenance, MCC/PCC panels, motors, electrical breakdowns, LT/HT systems and preventive maintenance. Experience in paper/board machine maintenance and substation operations will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
1. Equipment & Machine Maintenance
- Perform routine maintenance and daily checks for board machines and associated electrical equipment.
- Attend electrical breakdowns and ensure timely restoration of machine operations.
- Inspect, maintain and troubleshoot MCC panels, PCC panels, motors, starters and control circuits.
- Support preventive maintenance activities for motors, drives and electrical panels.
- Maintain control wiring, sensors, contactors, relays and basic automation components.
- Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities, faults and spare replacements.

Power Distribution Maintenance
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical distribution networks, feeder panels and protective devices.
- Monitor electrical parameters such as voltage, load and breaker health.
- Support relay testing, LT/HT panel cleaning and bus-bar inspection activities under supervision.
3. Electrical Safety & Compliance
- Follow LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures during maintenance activities.
- Identify electrical hazards, unsafe conditions and equipment abnormalities and escalate when required.
- Maintain protected working practices in board machine areas and substations.
- Assist with earth pit checking, tool inspection and basic electrical safety documentation.
4. Operational Support
- Coordinate with machine operators and shift engineers for issue resolution.
- Support shutdown maintenance for board machines and substation equipment.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and safe access inside MCC rooms, PCC rooms and cable areas.
