- Provide primary medical care to patients in emergency, OPD, and IP wards
- Conduct initial assessment, diagnosis, and stabilization of patients
- Handle emergency and critical cases until the consultant arrives
- Monitor in-patient progress and update treatment notes regularly
- Coordinate with consultants, nurses, and other departments for patient care
- Assist in admission, transfer, and discharge processes
- Ensure accurate medical documentation and case records
- Prescribe basic medications as per hospital protocols
- Respond promptly to code blue / emergency calls
- Maintain patient safety, hygiene, and clinical standards
- Communicate effectively with patients and attendants regarding condition and treatment
- Follow hospital policies, clinical guidelines, and legal regulations
