Role & Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, and enhancement of scalable backend services using Python.
- Architect and develop cloud-native, containerized applications deployed on Kubernetes.
- Design, build, and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Drive technical decisions, architecture reviews, code quality, and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate closely with product, data science, and engineering teams to deliver AI-driven solutions.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.
- Develop and optimize PostgreSQL databases, ensuring performance and scalability.
- Contribute hands-on to the codebase while leading the technical direction of the platform.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Git, and modern software development practices.
- Build and integrate AI/Agentic AI solutions using frameworks such as LangGraph, OpenAI SDK, Google ADK, or similar.
- Participate in the development of React-based user interfaces and full-stack features when required.
- Drive adoption of modern engineering practices, automation, security, and platform reliability.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 7 to 10 years of software engineering experience with strong expertise in backend or platform engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience in Python development.
- Experience designing and operating applications on Kubernetes.




- Proficient in REST API design, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
- Robust knowledge of PostgreSQL, database design, and performance optimization.
- Experience with Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native development.
- Proven experience providing technical leadership, setting engineering standards, and mentoring developers.
- Familiarity with React and modern front-end development practices.
- Exposure to Agentic AI frameworks such as LangGraph, OpenAI SDK, Google ADK, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar.
- Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ is preferred.
- Exposure to Helm, Azure DevOps, Cursor, Veracode, or similar development tools is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams is highly desirable.
